Thomas is a Chartered Accountant and experienced Chief Financial Officer with extensive leadership experience across both the education and professional services sectors. He currently serves as CFO at Thomas Telford Multi Academy Trust, having previously held senior finance leadership roles within academy trusts. Earlier in his career, Thomas spent almost eight years at KPMG, specialising in audit, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate finance, where he advised organisations on financial strategy, governance, and business growth.

Thomas brings significant expertise in financial stewardship, audit, risk management, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning. His experience of leading finance functions within education enables him to provide independent oversight of financial sustainability, value for money, and governance, supporting the Board in maintaining robust financial management and accountability.
