SATs examinations are used by schools to identify a child’s academic ability and to assess how each child is progressing throughout the school year, in comparison to children of their same age. SATs are taken in Years 2 and 6 towards the end of the academic calendar in May. For many children, these examinations will be their first taste of informal testing. The results from SATs taken in Year 6 are mostly used to place your child in academic sets of the same ability in secondary school. Our tutors will help to prepare for these examinations by providing practice papers, tips on time management along with study and learning techniques.
All of our tutoring sessions are for 1 hour (double sessions can be booked if required) and are held:
- Monday – Friday 3 pm – 8 pm
- Saturday 10am – 3pm
- Sunday 10am – 2pm
