Thank you to everyone who visited us at the kids fest. We had over 250 children code with us on Saturday and Sunday. Good luck to everyone who entered our ‘win a VR headset competition’. We will be in touch with the winners shortly.

Kids Fest is a two-day event for those who missed us. It is a hands-on, interactive event for kids aged 6+ and their families, with a focus on STEM learning.

Coding is an essential skill for kids to learn in the 21st century and we were so thrilled to be able to teach so many kids at Kids Fest. If you’re interested in getting your child involved in coding, we run regular classes and workshops for kids aged 6-17.

Why is it important to introduce children to coding from a young age?

In recent years, coding has become an increasingly important skill. As the world becomes more reliant on technology, those who can code will have a leg up in the job market.

But coding isn’t just necessary for those who want to work in the tech industry. A basic understanding of coding can help people in all sorts of careers, from marketing to medicine. And it’s not just adults who can benefit from learning to code – kids can, too.

There are a number of reasons why it’s important to introduce children to coding from a young age. For one, it can help them develop problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Coding can also foster creativity and introduce kids to new ways of thinking.

But perhaps most importantly, learning to code can give kids a sense of empowerment. It can show them that they can create something from nothing and that they have the ability to control and shape the world around them.

How can you introduce coding to children in a fun and engaging way?

Coding is a fundamental skill that children should learn in order to be prepared for the future. The good news is that there are a number of ways to introduce coding to children in a fun and engaging way.

One way to do this is to enroll them in a coding class. Coding classes typically use a mix of hands-on activities, projects, and games to teach children the basics of coding. This is a great way for children to get started with coding, as they can learn at their own pace and in a fun and supportive environment. That is why we start with Scratch programming. Kids can learn to code and create their own stories.

Another way to introduce coding to children is to use coding toys and games. These toys and games are designed to teach children the basics of coding in a fun and interactive way. We use VR technology and robots, which makes them a great option for children who are interested in learning to code.

If you are looking for a fun and educational way to introduce coding to children, then consider enrolling them in our coding class.
