This week our student Elliot completed a long 18 months of Computer Science lessons here at School of Coding, just in time for his G.C.S.E exams in two weeks time.

Elliot came to us as a home schooled student, previously this may have left him without the option to study computer science, however, here at School of Coding, he was able to study the subject and gain a G.C.S.E which can propel him into his future career.

In 18 months of lessons at just 2 hours per week (similar to lesson schedules completed in a school environment) Elliot has studied an approved OCR syllabus, this included taking and passing mock exams and completing his end of year project, which saw him coding a complete working programme. These lessons have given him the skills and knowledge he requires to pass his exams and advance to the next level, setting him up for a bright future.

We wish him well for his exams and look forward to seeing his education progress in September when he joins us again to study for his A-levels.

Home education no longer means being unable to study the subjects of the future. Here at School of Coding we aim to develop the tech leaders of tomorrow and the invitation to learn is open from Key Stage 1 up to A-Level.
